HOW TO WEAR & CARE FOR YOUR LIL'BUDS®

Lil'buds® are designed to slip comfortably into your nursing tank or bra to provide targeted relief from pains associated with engorgement, clogged ducts, and, worst of all, mastitis.

There are many different ways a mother can wear lil'buds®.  They can be worn in any orientation on the breast to provide needed relief to any specific area; from horizontally along the bottom or top of the breast, to vertically on the sides of the breast.  If desired, a pair of lil'buds® can be used together to cover the entire breast.  Every breast is different and you are encouraged to find an orientation that works best for you to get the relief you deserve.

FEEDING WITH LIL'BUDS

Sometimes the most excruciating pain is when nursing with clogged ducts or mastitis.  The shape of each lil'buds® allows a mother to wrap her breast while keeping the nipple area accessible for baby to nurse.  Win for both Mama and Baby!

USE COLD:  To ease pains of engorgement, store lil'buds® in the freezer and slip into bra in between feedings

USE HOT:  To ease pains of clogged ducts and mastitis, heat up lil'buds® in the microwave for 5-10 seconds at a time.  Or place lil'buds® in the oven at it's lowest setting for 10-15 minutes.

PREVENTATIVE USE:  To prevent clogged ducts from leading to mastitis.  Use lil'buds® hot 10-15 minutes prior to every feeding to encourage milk flow and let down.  Place lil'buds® in the freezer during feedings to cool down.  After feeding, place the cold lil'buds® on each breast to sooth for 15-20 minutes.

CARING FOR YOUR LIL'BUDS

To clean your lil'buds®, simply wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and leave to dry in direct sunlight.   UV rays naturally kill bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms which might exist on the outside of the pack.

Note: If you don't plan on using your lil'buds® right away, store them in a cool dry place until you are ready to use them.
